358 New Students of SMAN 8 Participating in MPLS

The new school academic year begins, and the new student has started participating in the school environment introduction (MPLS), including in SMAN 8 Bukit Duri, Tebet, South Jakarta.

Applicants for SMAN 8 are still ranked first, which is a favorite school in Jakarta

Based on Beritajakarta.com observations, as many as 358 new students of SMAN 8 are participating in an opening ceremony on the parade ground. On that occasion, SMAN 8 Principal, Agusman Anwar introduced the school and give guidance and motivation to new students. Parents of new students also marched following the ceremony.

"Here, for tenth grade student, there are 10 groups of students. One class has 36 students, where nine classes with IPA and one class with IPS that have been passing through a selection of PPDB, inclusion, general and local. Applicants for SMAN 8 are still ranked first, which is a favorite school in Jakarta," he told, Monday (7/18).

No More Hazing System at Schools

He furthered, those will attend in MPLS for three days, precisely Monday (7/18) until Wednesday (7/20). MPLS itself involves student council (OSIS), principal, teacher, police and BNN. As for material that given, is school policy, curriculum, schoolboyish, trusteeship, spirituality, recognition OSIS/PK, and national vision.

Regarding hazing system, Agusman asserted that it will never happen again. According to him, involvement of SMAN 8 alumnus is more to the debriefing and material provision, as well as tips to get achievement while seated until graduating from school.

"Our school is free from hazing. We also invite the alumnus to give tips how to get into college," he stated.

On the other hand, traffic near school looks jammed because many parents ushering their children go to school.
